EPISODE 156 – Episode 158 – Here we go again

When the host goes AWOL, the podcast EBUG gets called on.

Marty (eventually), John and Aaron are joined by surprise guest host Anthony Russell (BOTW) to bring you this week’s show because apparently we needed someone else to keep the wheels on.

With the 2026/27 season finally here, we dive into the first pre-season action and give our early thoughts on what we’ve seen so far.

We also get stuck into:

Manchester Storm’s BIG homecoming crowd
The latest rule changes
NHL expansion

Philadelphia’s new arena
The latest jersey releases
AI and its growing place in hockey
And, of course, our all-important predictions for the season ahead

Plus, plenty of the usual Door 14 chat, opinions, and questionable takes along the way.

The season is here. The predictions are locked in. Now we just have to see how badly we get them wrong.

Welcome to 2026/27.
