Three of the guys are back and Aaron is off being a tired, tired new father! This time around we talk coaching, try to make sense (again) of the NIHL, Russian conspiracies, linesman throwing, seizure inducing three-way interactive hockey and goal scoring netminders.
MK Lightning have named their new coach as Doug McKay, of former Maple Leafs and NJ Devils’ fame.
David Clarke has announced his intention to retire from hockey at the end of this season and has immediately ruled himself out of international duties for GB. A storied career comes to an end, well done Clarkey.
So from what we could find, it seems that three out of the four NIHL conference (?) titles were decided over the weekend past, with Basingstoke Bison, Sutton Sting and Sheffield Steeldogs picking up top spots in their respective competitions. If anyone knows what’s going on in the fourth can you let us know, please?!

Goaltending interference has been a hot topic recently and with a questionable decision in Toronto, it’s become one that the NHL has committed to reviewing in the off-season.
