Scottish teams are in limbo as Covid restrictions mean they are limited to 200 fans.
Meanwhile, the EIHL has attempted to quell disquiet around its own Covid protocol, however questions still remain…because to say a league can’t have a published protocol isn’t quite right, is it?
The Challenge Cup rumbles on, however the league have now moved to make semifinals a one-off game with the top seed taking home ice advantage.

Evander Kane…yeah, Evander Kane – he was placed on unrestricted waivers by the Sharks in a move to end his contract after yet again flouting NHL and Canadian COVID restrictions, THEN was linked to a deal with Edmonton, BUT seems to have screwed that up too now…

We at Door 14 Hockey join the rest of the hockey community in sending our deepest condolences to the friends, family and teammates of young Teddy Balkind after the young player sadly lost his life after an unfortunate incident during a game.
Meanwhile, there was some epic news out of Seattle as a young medical student received some well earned kudos following a remarkable spot during Vancouver’s last visit.
